The low lying sun caused the last hurdle to be omitted from the second race at Leopardstown, but it did not stop the odds-on favourite Realth Dubh winning in the hands of Paul Carberry.
Newcomer Sorceror shot clear on the approach to the straight and it looked as if Carberry had little chance on the favourite, but Noel Meade's gelding quickened up in the style of a very good horse to win going away by 3/4 length.
