Odds-on Mac completes another double for Blackmore Rachael Blackmore recorded her second successive double at Tipperary, as she guided Ellie Mac to victory in the Schooling At Tipperary Rated Novice Chase. Having partnered Micro Manage and Bedrock to victory here yesterday, Blackmore continued her winning streak today, and was earlier successful on Young Turk. Trained by Henry de Bromhead, Ellie Mac was expected to deliver this afternoon, going off the 9/10 favourite having finished a good second on her last start at Listowel. Settled in mid-division, the daughter of Court Cave took closer order in third from three out, and got to the front after the next. She was ridden and extended her advantage from the last, going on to score comfortably by five lengths in the colours of the Niccolai Schuster Horse Racing Club. Fintara (7/1) finished second under Robbie Power for Jessica Harrington, while Runyon Rattler was another thirteen lengths back in third. de Bromhead said afterwards: "I'm delighted for the lads as she has brought everyone a lot of fun and she is going from strength to strength. "For most of the race you'd say she was un-genuine but them in the last half mile you'd say she was game as a pebble. She is funny but maybe a step up in trip might suit. "Maybe she might just need a little bit further but she looked so game up the straight in fairness to her. "The lads would love a runner at Leopardstown over Christmas and she won there last year so I'd imagine she'll run there. She has been fairly busy already and we might back off her for a few weeks now and look towards Christmas. "It is brilliant - she has won two races now, has brought us to Cheltenham and Punchestown and has she has won at Leopardstown. "Obviously the club was set up in memory of Niccolai (Schuster) and it is great to see everyone getting so much pleasure out of it." Niccolai Schuster tragically lost his life in the Berkeley balcony collapse in 2015, with the winning club made up of his family and friends. Additional reporting by Thomas Weekes
