O'Brien's Boy wins pt-to-pt bumper The Terence O'Brien trained Consharon Boy beat off six previous point-to-point winners, among 10 opponents, when winning the concluding Raceday Packages @ gowranpark.ie Point-To-Point Bumper at Gowran today. Ridden by Pat Collins, the Templenacarriga 'points' winner battled gamely inside the final furlong for a length win over 7/4 favourite Monalee. Afterwards O'Brien stated “I suppose he had plenty of experience and he was the most experienced in the race but he's a very genuine horse. “We were always a bit worried about his wind and after he won his point-to-point we cauterized his palate.
