Meetingofthewaters asserted up the hill to land the spoils in the concluding bumper for the father and daughter team of Eugene and Maxine O'Sullivan.
7/4 favourite Ellis Boyd Redding cut out the running in the two-mile-one contest and it boiled down to a duel between him and the eventual winner from two furlongs out.
Meetingofthewaters got on top inside the final furlong and pulled away in the closing stages to record a four-and-three-quarter length win.
The 7/2 winner won a point-to-point on his debut before two further placings between the flags and had been third on his 'track' debut in a bumper at Cork last month.
"He had a really nice run last time and finished really strongly. We were probably riding him a small big cagey in Cork to make sure he finished his race and pulling up I was delighted with him” said the winning rider.
"I think he will appreciate a bit of nicer ground again. Most of his runs, unfortunately for him, have been on heavy and he has done brilliantly, but we think he might appreciate the better ground.
"He's a lovely horse and we are delighted to have him."
The winner runs in the colours of Alurie O'Sullivan, who is no relation to the trainer and jockey.
