Limerick races concluded today with two Charity Races in aid of Mid-West Spina Bifida 'Back In The Saddle Again', the first being won by ATR pundit Kevin O'Ryan on Prince Erik, with the second division going to trainer Mags Mullins on her Marlay Park.

ATR presenter Matt Chapman provided a typically colourful commentary for both races, taking particular pleasure in seeing his television colleague O'Ryan steer Prince Erik to a hard fought half length win, joking “we'll ever hear the end of it!” as the grey gelding passed the post in front.

The second division went to Mags Mullins' trained and ridden Marlay Park, coming from off a fast early pace to eventually win effortlessly by five and a half lengths.

Ex-jockey turned trained Paul Flynn arguably came in for Chapman's most scathing criticism, and there were quite a few, having made a “massive tactical move” to force the early pace in division two. However the move back-fired badly, and on passing the line last, Chapman declared “.. and Paul Flynn you disgraced yourself with your early pace!!”
