Adamaris gave his rivals weight and a comprehensive beating when landing the second division of the Irish Examiner Handicap at Killarney for Ger O'Leary.
Shane Foley soon had his mount in front in the mile contest but relinquished the lead after a couple of furlongs as Dark Kris went on.
The 5/1 shot claimed that rival over a furlong and a half from home and stayed on stoutly in the closing stages to post a two-and-a-quarter length victory over Slieve Bearnagh
Adamaris was recording his second career success and was making just his second outing this season having been fifth on his reappearance at Galway.
Assistant Adrian Joyce said:- "I was on the phone to Ger twice and was afraid of the ground, I thought it was too quick for him, but we said we'd take a chance because it was safe, good ground.
"It opens up a few options for him now that he actually went on it.
"He had a great run back at Galway after a break and he'll mix it dual-purpose. He'll be a nice horse over hurdles on summer ground towards the end of the summer. He has ran once already over hurdles on very heavy ground.
"We made a decision to let a lot of the horses out when the ground dried up on us and they'll be back in full flight now. We have been quiet for the last few weeks but hopefully we'll have a good back end of the season."
