Clicksnmortar produced a fine front-running performance to land the concluding bumper at Roscommon and give trainer Edward O'Grady a double on the night.
Kevin Power kicked clear half a mile out on the Presenting gelding and he galloped on strongly down the straight for a six-length win.
"It's funny how horses improve with age. I never thought he would be a bumper horse but just recently he did a piece of work that suggested that it would be worth letting him take his chance," said O'Grady.
"He done it in spades today but his forte is as a chaser later on. He just seems to like good ground.
"The way he won if there was another 2m4f bumper we would consider it. He has pleased us and hopefully will make a nice chaser."
