O'Brien in Love with Irish Champions Weekend Aidan O'Brien doubled up at the Curragh as Love landed the Group 1 Moyglare - and made it six winners over Irish Champions Weekend for the trainer. It was also a double for jockey Ryan Moore who got O'Brien's Fairyland home by a short head in the preceding race - the Group 1 Flying Five. The Galileo filly found top stride to mow down Soul Search at the furlong marker and she kept finding for Moore to take the spoils by three parts of a length. Roger Varian's Daahyeh, the 13/8 favourite, kept her honest in the closing stages without ever looking like reeling her in. O'Brien's So Wonderful was the same distance away in third at 16/1. Aidan O’Brien said: “She’s genuine, has a beautiful pedigree and stays very well. She has a beautiful action and when Ryan asked her to get down and lengthen she stuck her head out. “She’s been working lovely and progressing with every run. “We thought she was a filly that would be crying out for a mile this year, and we were trying to keep her at seven for as long as we could with the view to coming here and then maybe finishing off in the Fillies Mile and being a classic filly next year. “That family all get a mile and a half well at three so it’s very exciting for her and she has a lovely mind too. “The ground was probably a bit soft for her the last day.” Paddy Power gave Love a first show of 14/1 for the 1,000 Guineas while Betfair go 16/1. O'Brien had a quartet of winners yesterday at Leopardstown - Blissful, Mogul, Norway and Magical. Additional reporting by Alan Magee
