There was a third winner for Willie Mullins, and a second for Gigginstown House Stud, when Wishmoor (15/8 favourite from 5/2) scored on his debut on the racecourse proper in the concluding Bet In-Shop & Check On The Go With The Ladbrokes Grid App INH Flat Race under Patrick at Punchestown.
Mullins had to take out odds-on shots, Saturnas and Asthuria owing to the ground, so it could well have been near total domination for the Closutton maestro.
Doubtless the champion and his team were still more than happy with how the evening transpired, and the victorious 45,000 pound purchase out of the Ian Ferguson yard, stamped his authority on things from the quarter mile pole.
In the end he comfortably saw off Seaboard by eight lengths.
Gigginstown's earlier winner was Everyday Everyhour (Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy), whilst for Mullins it was Alelchi Inois (Barry Geraghty) and Bamako Moriviere (Danny Mullins).
"He's a fine, big winter horse and I probably took a bit of a chance running on the ground," acknowledged Mullins.
He added: "He could be put away now for jumping. We've had him for quite a while but couldn't get him out due to little setbacks."
