Aunt Nora ran out an easy winner of the Molony Cup Handicap Chase at Thurles under a confident ride from David Mullins.
Pat Fahy 's mare was produced to claim the front-runner Coolnagorna Giggs at the second last in the three-mile contest.
She was soon in control and Mullins popped the last on the 14/1 shot, who cruised home for a seven length success. Massinis Adventure was sent off the 11/4 favourite but could only finish a never dangerous fourth.
Aunt Nora had unseated at the first fence when making her first start in handicap company over fences at Punchestown 10 days ago.
"That was no surprise. She had a bit of form but Brian Hayes was knocked out of the saddle the last day and prior to that she was running in a different class of race at Gowran,” said Fahy.
"I'm delighted to get this as Fintan (Kealy) is a great owner and has plenty of her relations at home so it's very important that she gets black-type at some stage.
"We have her right now so won't chance running her quickly but there's a race after Christmas in Punchestown for her."
