Wexford trainer Paul Nolan won the first race here this evening, The Tipperary Festival 18th & 19th July Hurdle with 5/2 shot Cuan Na Grai under Alain 'Squeaky' Cawley.
Winning trainer Nolan said afterwards, "The ground was perfect for him today, we didn't run him the last day as the ground was too fast and we don't want to break him down again. He was probably a bit deliberate at his hurdles today but everything going well we'll head to Galway and go for the good novice chase."
