Thereisnodoubt produced a fine front-running performance to land the spoils in the Lisronagh Handicap Hurdle at Clonmel this afternoon.
Shane Crawley 's charge was a faller on his return to action at Thurles on late November but was supported today from 7/1, going as short as 3/1 at one stage before returning a 9/2 shot.
Eoin O'Connell bounced the Primary gelding out in front and sent him on after the second last in the two-miler.
The six-year-old galloped on strongly in the closing stages to post a comprehensive nine-length victory.
"He was running a nice race when he fell at Thurles and that was his first race for me. We had him out in front today and we put the hood on him and it helped,” said Crawley.
"The horses are going well at the minute and fair play to the lads as they took a chance buying him off a very shrewd trainer (Austin Leahy) in Limerick and he obliged for them today. He'll go for something similar next.
""I'm delighted for the lads and everything came right today.”
