No nightmare scenario for backers of odds-on Dream The 1/4 favourite Recurrent Dream duly disposed of his four rivals in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Claiming Race. Colin Keane sat second on the Elzaam colt before shaking him up to lead passing the two furlong marker. The market leader was ridden clear from that point to account for Arch Enemy by three lengths. A winner of a strong 6f maiden at Naas, this was the 89-rated winner’s second success from four starts. Shane Lyons, assistant to winning trainer Ger Lyons, said: “That's as quick as he'd want it and hopefully he's alright in the morning. Most of those Elzaams want a bit of juice. “We were a bit worried about the ground as it's on the quick side of good, that was the only negative.” The winner was put in at a claiming price of E40,000 but there were no claims for him or any of the other runners.
