An Fraoch Mor is being targeted at a Naas contest next month, after impressing on his last start, at Navan in mid-December.
It wasn't difficult to see why the Mahler gelding is held in good regard by trainer, Ross O'Sullivan, given the way in which he disposed of Brosna George and the rest by eleven lengths and more.
That form has been shown in a good light since, with fourth-placer At The Acorn bolting up at Fairyhouse.
O’Sullivan, enjoying his best season with 7 winners already this term, has a late February date pencilled in for An Fraoch Mor now.
“An Fraoch Mor got a little setback and it’s going to knock us back a couple of weeks. It’s nothing major and he’s back cantering now," said the County Kildare handler.
“There is a novice handicap for him in Naas at the end of February and that’s where we’re going to aim him.
“Initially we were going to run him in a similar race at Naas on Sunday.”
