Robbie Power doubled his Naas tally, half-an-hour on from his win on Edwulf when the Beneficial mare Forge Meadow took out the featured Grade 2 Paddy Power Onside App Novice Hurdle in really good fashion. Labaik didn't want to race again and started completely tailed off. He was always well behind in the two miler.
Up front the other mare in the line-up, along with Forge Meadow, Pravalaguna was still in the lead with every chance when falling at the penultimate flight.
Soon after the Jessica Harrington-trained Forge Meadow went for home and she asserted on the run-in to beat Joey Sasa and the favourite, Any Second Now by eight lengths and half a length.
"She has just been unlucky this year. She was unlucky in the Royal Bond and last time she was just a bit too far out of it," said Mrs Harrington.
"She was very good and he said she cantered everywhere. She still needs to relax a bit more. Two miles is her trip at the moment, and she will probably be better on better ground. I was very worried about the ground today as I thought it was going to be too heavy.
"The entries for the mares novice at Cheltenham close tomorrow and she will be entered in that."
For that event Boylesports go 10/1 (from 14/1) about Forge Meadow.
