Online betting service Blue Square has today announced it has signed agreements with Telewest Communications to provide interactive betting services across its cable network.
The announcement comes shortly after it was revealed that Blue Square had signed a similar agreement with Open, the digital satellite interactive service.
The agreements mean that Telewest's digital TV viewers will soon be able to use their TV remote controls to place a bet.
Blue Square chief executive Martin Belsham said: "This further development ensures that Blue Square continues to establish itself as the leader in interactive betting in the UK."
