Trainer John Murphy recorded his third winner of the week when Cul A Dun ran out a length and half winner of the KWD Recycling Handicap in the hands of Sam James.
James produced the Soviet Star gelding with a well timed run to take up the lead inside the final furlong and deny Northern Rocked and Pat Smullen.
Winning trainer Murphy said afterwards: “He got unlucky the last day where he met interference in two different places.”
“The juice in the ground definitely helped him and he got a lovely ride from Sam who waited and waited with him.”
“We’ll go for another handicap next.”
