Nick Rockett justified his short price when running out a cosy success of the beginners chase at Fairyhouse, giving Willie Mullins and Paul Townend a double on the card.
The Walk In The Park gelding came to join stablemate Tactical Move turning for home and asserted going down to the last fence.
He could afford to cruise home on the run-in to post a seven-length win at odds of 2/7.
The winner had been fourth to Corbetts Cross on his chase debut here last month. That rival was second in Grade 1 company at Leopardstown last week while the third, Monty's Star, won at Punchestown yesterday.
Assistant David Casey said:- “He was good. He improve a little bit from his first run, he obviously jumped very well.
“The first day was a competitive race and the form has been franked since.
“He did what you'd hope he would do, with natural progression, today.
“Paul was very happy and said he was comfortable everywhere.
“He'll get further, that was two-five today and he'd have no issue getting a trip. He's a good relaxed horse and jumps very well.
“The boss will make a plan now.”
