Quinola Des Obeaux a French bred 4-y-o, looked impressive when scoring by 7 lengths on his debut at Punchestown.
The horse is the first winner for English owner Osi Meli and his trainer will now look for a winners' event confined to his age group.
Wille Mullins said afterwards: 'he is a big, long-striding horse and will stay all day. He is big enough already to jump a fence. He will need soft ground to be seen at his best.'
