Mt Leinster seals Mullins' treble in Leopardstown Mt Leinster disputed with Global Society throughout the beginners' chase at Leopardstown before running right away from that rival to give Willie Mullins a treble. The 2/11 favourite wasn't always entirely fluent in his jumping but got the measure of Global Society in the straight and soon went on. He wasn't fluent at the last but stayed on well to draw 13 lengths clear of the 11/2 runner-up. “They went some gallop. Paul (Townend) thought the run in the handicap the last day gave him huge experience coming back there going at that speed in a beginners' chase. He was very happy with him and he learned an awful lot,” said Willie Mullins. “We'll try and find a race in Fairyhouse or Punchestown or another nice novice race somewhere along the line, in about a month's time. “I'd imagine that took a fair bit out of him given the pace they went. There was nothing easy about it.” This was a double on the card for Townend who also got the leg up on Mullins' Brooklynn Glory. The other Closutton winner was Glengouly partnered by Jack Foley.
