Most Peculiar slams the opposition Most Peculiar became the fourth winning favourite of the session at Downpatrick when romping to victory in the closing race, the Q Radio (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race. Patrick Mullins was never far away on the 4/7 chance and he impressively stretched clear in the final furlong. Second favourite Royal Captain was ten lengths in arrears in the runner-up spot at the line. Willie Mullins trains Most Peculiar for the OMG Partnership and he said: "He was a bit unlucky the last day. He's improved again and drying ground has helped him improve. "We'll probably continue with him into the summer as he's definitely a good ground horse and we'll probably try to win an amateur flat race with him. "He's a good jumper and I think he's from Pique Sous' pedigree." The OMG Partnership was represented by Philip Hackett whilst Patrick Mullins quipped: "It's about time I won on him." (MG & EM)
