Miss Coco too good for Wexford rivals Miss Coco upstaged some better fancied rivals in the opening Ingard Point Maiden as the daughter of Galileo proved three parts of a length and one and a half lengths superior to big outsiders, Mr Shinco and Mutiska. Wayne Lordan sported the silks of Lady Laidlaw of Rothiemay on this David Wachman-trained winner. Stable representative, Ahmed Malik said: "She was a bit green at the start, she'll improve for the run and she'll go for a better race next." Meanwhile Lordan commented: "She stays well and that's why she came here - for the trip (an extended mile and three furlongs). She'll improve as she is still green. To win was a bit of a surprise as we thought she might take the run." The first four in the betting - Doux Douce, Keraloun (the 5/2 joint favourites), Louisville Lip and Faranadooney all ran well below expectations, the best they could manage being sixth place.
