Mighty Stowaway follows up in style Mighty Stowaway recorded his second win in the space of six days when making virtually all in the Ryans Cleaning Handicap Chase at Punchestown. The Shark Hanlon-trained gelding opened his account over 2m2f at Thurles on Monday, and appreciated the extra half-mile here. The well-backed 13/2 (from 9/1) chance stayed on really well under Rachael Blackmore to draw clear on the run-in for a six lengths verdict over Neddyvaughan. Grand Partner was a head further back in third. Blackmore said, “He travelled a lot better today and the extra distance helped him. He’s improved again. “He got in a bit tight to the third last but other than that he jumped really well and he found loads.”
