Mic Milano was best for money in the concluding Follow Ballinrobe On Facebook Maiden Hurdle and he justified the faith of those that backed him from 100/30 into 5/2.
Supplying Mark Enright with his first winner over hurdles, the course and distance runner-up from last month, gamely found more from the back of the last to see off the favourite, Tepalo by half a length.
John Ryan trains Mic Milano for Edmond Murphy and the County Tipperary handler said: "I'm delighted for Mark as it's his first winner over hurdles.
"He's a really decent horse but it's hard to keep condition on him.
"He's an exceptional jumper, a real chaser, and I'm looking forward to going over fences with him.
"We knew he'd go close today and the money was down. He won't run for another three weeks or so now as it's hard to keep condition on him." (DM & EM)
