Review TIPPERARY 9TH AUG The Goffs Million is next on the agenda for Lisvale after a convincing performance in Listed company at Tipperary on Thursday night.Wayne Lordan sent his mount to the front well over a furlong out, in the Ad Valorem Stakes, and he kept on strongly to score by a length-and-a-quarter from 2/1f Achill Island. 'He'll go for the Goffs Million (September 14th) and hopefully we can keep him safe and sound for another month,' said trainer David Wachman.'He was a bit green at Leopardstown on his debut but battled well to win at the Curragh last time.'Sprint veteran Senor Benny was completing a quick brace for Declan McDonogh when staying on strongly to repel the challenge of Benwilt Breeze by half-a-length in the 5f handicap.'That's his eighth win and it was probably his easiest,' said trainer Kevin McDonagh. 'He was unlucky at the Curragh last time and should have won.'He'll probably go for a listed race next as the handicapper might have caught up with him now. We'll keep him on the go anyway.'McDonogh had an easy time on Sawalef in the opening two-year-old maiden as Kevin Prendergast's charge made all for a cosy three-length success.Cloone Rocket (4/11f) was sent off at prohibitive odds in the winners hurdle but had to get serious on the run-in to repel Paramount.Charlie Swan's charge looked set for a cosy victory when going clear before the second last but a sloppy jump at the final flight let his rival get closer and he made him race to secure a half-length victory.Valamareha just held on in the apprentice handicap as Prince Livius threw down a strong challenge in the final furlong.A good jump at the last sealed victory for Mahrajaan in the maiden hurdle while Brize Norton was produced with a perfectly-timed challenge by Jack Doyle to land the concluding handicap hurdle.Andrew Lynch geared up for his trip 'down under' by bagging a double at Sligo, which included his first winner on the Flat aboard the locally trained Dr Knock.Michael McElhone's charge registered his fourth success at the course when powering away in the closing stages of the apprentice handicap for a three-and-a-half length success. It was back to more familiar surroundings for Lynch as he kept 4/5f Jadanli up to his work to record an eight-length verdict in the novice hurdle. The gelding was continuing the great recent run of Galway trainer Paul Gilligan who said: 'I can't wait to go chasing next year with him. He's a really good horse.'Lynch is one of four Irish jump jockeys taking part in the Ireland v Australia challenge. He sets off on Saturday along with Andrew Leigh, Robbie Moran and Dermot Hogan.Earlier on the card Westlake showed the benefit of first-time blinkers when running out an effortless winner of the conditions race.
