Nicky Henderson opened his Punchestown account for the new millenium when saddling Get Real to win the featured BMW Chase.

Mick Fitzgerald always had the 3/1 shot at the head of affairs and, relishing going right-handed, stayed on stoutly to hold Cenkos and champion chaser Edredon Bleu (6/4-11/10f).

'This was the plan. He's very good when fresh and loves going that way. It's great to have runners here and to win here caps it all,' said Henderson.

Zourito (5/2-10/3) shrugged off the challenge of uneasy fav. Go Roger Go (4/6-11/10f) to record his 5th successive victory over fences in the 2m4f Novice Chase.

'He's a super horse and yet again Barry gave him an outstanding ride. He gets 2m4f well,' said winning trainer Arthur Moore.

Jim Dreaper's Caledonian Bridge, supported from 11/2 before racing and 7/2 to 5/2 on course, proved a big disappointment finishing a distance back in third.

Tryphaena provided Willie Mullins with his second successive victory in the 2m4f handicap hurdle when landing a gamble under Ruby Walsh.

Supported at 6/1 in the offices and from 7/2 in the ring, she arrived full of running to head stable-companion Galeogan on the run to the final flight for a 2L victory.

'She will probably revert to the flat next with the Galway Hurdle as her target later in the Summer,' said Mullins.

'So much for trainers - we're such experts we know nothing,' quipped Jessica Harrington after Moscow Flyer powered home for Barry Geraghty in the 2m novice hurdle.

'I always thought he was a 2m4f horse but I'm wrong after that,' she said.

Cheltenham Supreme Novices' Hurdle hero Sausalito Bay (4/6-4/7f) found no more when headed by the eventual winner finishing 17l back in 3rd with Aldino splitting the pair.

Bill Lanigan's Pauls Run benefitted from a positive ride from Shay Barry to scoop the 3m1f handicap chase resulting in 22 winners of the Jackpot worth #1826.60.

Kickham (5/2-9/4f) and Philip Fenton finished the day on a bright note for fav. backers when landing the concluding bumper for Edward O'Grady and JP McManus.
