< Flemenstar rolled back the years as Un De Sceaux crashed out of the Paddy Power 'So Quick, So Easy iPhone App' Chase at Leopardstown.
All appeared to be going to plan for Un De Sceaux on his comeback and while his early clear advantage was reduced, he was still in command when coming to grief at the second-last.
That left Simply Ned at the head of affairs and he looked set to score when jumping the final fence, but Flemenstar (16-1) found more for Andrew Lynch to give Anthony Curran his first success as a trainer by a length.< Long Dog (9-4 favourite) registered his second Grade One triumph in the Paddy Power Future Champions Novice Hurdle.
The Royal Bond winner dictated terms to suit himself and Ruby Walsh knew just what he had underneath him as he accelerated turning into the straight before keeping Tombstone three-quarters of a length at bay.
JP McManus was mob-handed in the Paddy Power Chase and it was his Minella Foru who prevailed.
The Eddie Harty-trained 7-1 shot didn't get involved until the last, but he powered home to account for Ucello Conti and Folsom Blue with McManus' favourite Gilgamboa fourth.< Let's Dance was favourite for the Triumph Hurdle prior to her Irish debut in the Paddy Power 'Download Our New iPhone App' 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle but had to settle for second behind Aidan O'Brien's smart Flat recruit Ivanovich Gorbatov (100-30).< Silver Concorde was another expensive failure and occupied the runner-up berth in the Paddy Power Maiden Hurdle for the second successive year, this time finishing 13 lengths adrift of the impressive Supasundae (5-2).
In addition to Minella Foru and Ivanovich Gorbatov, the McManus colours were carried to victory when Harty's Copy That justified 11-8 favouritism in the Paddy Power 'One Account Multiple Ways To Bet' Handicap Hurdle.
