Misty Heights earned herself a short holiday after scoring in Listed company in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Victor McCalmont Memorial Stakes.
The 2/1f, who finished eighth in the Irish 1,000 Guineas, was ridden to lead inside the final furlong by Pat Smullen and the pair held the challenge of Kevin Prendergast's Leonor Fini by half a length, giving owner Lady O'Reilly a one-two in the race.
'She has had a busy spell recently and will get a short break now. She deserved to win that as she has been running well in group company,' said winning trainer Dermot Weld.
Francis Crowley's Zelkova, backed from 14/1 to 7/1, got off the mark with an impressive front-running performance in the Ballylinch Stallions EBF Maiden.
Fran Berry had little cause for concern, easing his mount down close home, as they accounted for La Maitresse by four-and-a-half lengths. Ballydoyle newcomer Tivoli Fountain (8/11f) was a major disappointment, finishing a moderate sixth.
'He had a very good run last time at Leopardstown when third to Pictavia. He learned a lot from that and put it to use today,' said Crowley.
Aleida made it third time lucky at the course as she landed the Goresbridge Maiden by a length-and-a-half from Mum's Reward.
The 4/5 favourite had twice finished runner-up here this season but made no mistake this time. Kevin Manning sent the filly to the lead soon after the start and the pair stretched clear a furlong out before easing down close home.
Bolger and Manning made it a double when the heavily backed Lamberto (5/2 - 6/4f) took the Thomastown Handicap by six lengths from Carmens Boy. Cathy Gannon steered Ocean Bounty to success in the Kilkenny Handicap while Carlesimo took the concluding Gowran Handicap to give her a double.
