Ray Boy could have the Galway Hurdle on the agenda after a gutsy success at Cork on Sunday.
Pat O'Connor's gelding battled well, under Shay Barry, to see off the challenge of Charlies First by a length after the pair had duelled down the straight in the Murphy's Handicap Hurdle.
'He was wrong all last year with a virus,' revealed O'Connor. 'I always thought he was a nice horse. He wants good ground and will probably be aimed at Killarney and Galway. Hopefully he could be a Galway Hurdle horse.'
Barry completed a quick double when Pacolet led at the last to score by two lengths in the beginners chase.
Wayne Lordan also bagged a double courtesy of Chariots Of Fire and Tashadelek.
The opening maiden looked a classy contest with Chariots Of Fire narrowly prevailing from Sorolla, as the pair quickened nicely from their rivals.
'He's a nice horse but is very raw,' said trainer David Wachman. 'He travelled well and quickened very well. I don't know where we go now but he is well entered up.'
David Marnane believes Tashadelek is a stronger mare this year after a fine front-running performance to land the Fermoy Handicap.
Pat Smullen teamed up with wife Francis Crowley as Hanicor struck in the Blarney Handicap while Considine found more after the last to claim the maiden hurdle.
