McCreery and Lee are Mintd in Listowel Mintd thundered away from the pursuers to get off the mark in the median auction maiden for juveniles in Listowel. Billy Lee nudged his mount along from the gates to make use of the low draw in two. She soon grabbed the lead on the inside but was pressed by the free-running Macken. Coral Beach, the even-money favourite, tracked that pair in third. Mintd hugged the rail sweeping for home and soon saw off Macken. Mintd was ridden over a furlong out and opened up on Coral Beach inside the final furlong to draw clear by three lengths at 9/4. Coral Beach could make no impression on the winner in second but was a length in front of third-placed Riding The Storm (11/2 from 7/1). Mintd had finished second at Naas last month, half a length in front of Coral Beach in third. Trainer Willie McCreery said: "We had the draw and had to use it and she quickened up nicely and Billy gave her a lovely ride. "She is a nice filly and was second to probably the best filly (Fairyland) in Ireland the last day and it's good that she has gone and won and franked that form. "We'll start looking at black-type now and I'm not sure we'll be looking at Royal Ascot or anything like that but she is a lovely filly and has grown again. "The (Mintd) Syndicate are a group of lads from Clane GAA and include Tom Cribbin who managed the Westmeath footballers. It's great to have them as I played football with most of them. Richie Dunne is a member and was involved with Colour Of Love who we had a couple of years ago." Additional reporting by Thomas Weekes
