Jessica Maye partnered the third winner of her career aboard Mogwli (17/2) in the second split of the extended seven furlong handicap at Bellewstown.
The seven-year-old grey won on this card last year and was down to the same mark of 56.
Willie McCreery 's charge was produced to lead over the road crossing and repelled Eastern Wind (9/2) by half a length. Tara Power was a length and a-quarter back in third at 22/1.
Maye said: "It feels great and I'm delighted. Everything worked out.
"He was in good form, he nearly ran away with me to the start.
"I just said I would jump and try to get a bit of cover, but he was basically running away with me the whole way. He did it well.
"He's a bit quirky and he loved coming up through the horses and when I saw the gap open, I knew he would go through it for me. He was pricking his ears a little bit but he stayed on well to the line.
"Third winner now, thank God, long time with a 10lb claim.
"I knew he won at this meeting last year, so I knew he would stay and he loved powering up that hill.
"I'd just like to thank Willie for giving me the opportunity to ride him again. I've had a few seconds on him, so great to get a win.
Maye's claim was cut from 10lb to 7lb after this success.
