David Marnane reports Ja’marr in good form and is hopeful the juvenile can follow up a recent nursery win at Dundalk when returning to the Polytrack this Wednesday.
The son of Zoustar showed some promise on turf including behind Hazdann in a maiden at the Curragh on irish Derby weekend that has worked out particularly well and took advantage of a mark of 68 on handicap debut last month.
He justified good support when successful over a mile and again tackles that trip off a 7lb higher mark with Marnane commenting, “He has come out of the race very well and we are very happy with him.
"He will run, he's in great form. He's still unexposed at the moment anyway, so let's see.”
The Bansha trainer has sent out 16 winners this year and added, “They are great. We don't have many now for the winter, we'll have a few more for up to the 20th (December) in Dundalk and then it might get a little quiet.”
Marnane was speaking after Aviatrice won a fillies maiden in the same MRC International colours at Dundalk on Friday.
