Make Your Mark lives up to his name Oliver Brady was responsible for three of the seven runners in the three mile hurdle at Tipperary, but none of them could land a blow on 4/11 favourite Make Your Mark. Shabra Charity led, but the writing was on the wall when Make Your Mark moved smoothly past her after jumping the fourth last. On the home turn Kilcrea and Presenting Nama tried to close, but a particularly good jump two out saw Make Your Mark increase his lead and from there he came in unchallenged by five and a half lengths for Willie Mullins and Davy Russell in the Gigginstown House colours. “He’s a bit brave and he’s a Ryanair horse, he thinks he can fly! The ground was a bit quick, but we didn’t really learn anything today, but he’s a horse I’d love to ride over fences,” Davy Russell said. Kilcrea (14/1) won the race for second, beating Presenting Nama by four and a quarter lengths. Additional reporting by Thomas Weekes
