If you want an example of four to one on being a good price then check out the footage of Mozoltov s demolition of the opposition in the Students Day At Gowran Park Maiden Hurdle.
This fellow looked in a different league to the opposition on form and with second market choice, Clara Bel La never threatening to get near the long odds-on chance in third, it was left to 33/1 chance, Marjesjoh to chase home the winner at a distance of twenty four lengths.
Ever closing in on an amateur rider's record tally in a calendar year, Patrick Mullins was in the plate on Mozoltov and he made much of the running, hurdled fluently and it ultimately amounted to no more than a good piece of work for the Kayf Tara six-year-old, previously a leading bumper horse.
Of course Willie Mullins does the training and he said: "He jumped well but he was a bit keen. He'll go for a novice now, probably after Christmas.
"He's a big horse but he'd go over any trip. Hopefully he'll win more hurdles but he has the makings of a chaser."
Mozoltov is 20/1 (from 25s) for the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle while he has been introduced at 25/1 for the Neptune Investment Novices' Hurdle with Stan James. (TW & EM)
