Enduring Love got the result in the stewards room after a tight finish to the three-mile handicap chase at Limerick. Killisk Ben Rose held on by half a length after making all in the contest but edged right in the closing stages, bumping Enduring Love as he tried to challenge on the rail under Adam Short.
The stewards felt the interference had been enough to effect the outcome and awarded the race to Philip Rothwell's charge.
Enduring Love, returned 16/1, was recording his second career success having also scored at Fairyhouse back in November.
“It would have been very unjust had the result not been changed. He was coming with his run and he was quite obviously stopped. Thankfully we got the result,” said Rothwell.
"You would prefer to get it on the line but it's good to get it. We'e had a couple of winners for his owner John Leckey and we're having a good year.”
