Ger Lyons' Love Lockdown completed a hat-trick of wins in the Listed Kerry Spring Water Rochestown Stakes at Cork today, proving a game winner under Keagan Latham.
The son of Verglas made most of the running and although strongly pressed by eventual runner-up King Ledley inside the final furlong, battled well for a neck win.
Afterwards Lyons reported "Love Lockdown may not be the most talented horse in the world but he is the most professional horse I have ever brought to the races."
He added "he should get further and the way he races, the sky is the limit for him. I'm delighted we didn't go to Royal Ascot ¿ we need to put down our markers in Ireland first."
