Lost President (9/2) sealed an across-the-card double for Ross O'Sullivan when he took the William Hill Top Price Guarantee Handicap at Dundalk.

Donagh O'Connor had him tracking the leaders and rode him to the front a furlong out. He stayed on nicely to hit the line three-parts of a length up on Amber Blossom (12/1). Iowntheball was half a length back in third at 4/1.

The trainer said: "It was like a copy of the run the last day. He got that box seat and he was able to wait until they turned into the straight and then get the run up the inner.

"The trip (mile) suits him really well and he came out of the last day really well.

"I was praying that when the meet was called off on Friday that they would reschedule it because it is very hard to find a three-year-old only in his own bracket.

"He is an improver, so he's a grand horse to have. Donagh said there is probably loads of improvement left in him, so he will keep climbing. He said when he got to the front, he pricked his ears and idled.

"We might keep him here, it depends on what the programme is. He is a horse that is pretty versatile, I'd say good ground is his key. He won't be out early (on turf).

"His runs on the turf were okay last year."

Lost President was following up on a course and distance success just under a fortnight ago.

O'Sullivan's Slurricane won at 4/1 in Punchestown earlier today.
