Listen Dear made all in Downpatrick's bumper to give Willie and Patrick Mullins a winner on the card.
The mare, owned by the Supreme Horse Racing Club, clearly relished the good ground on offer and pulled well clear of her rivals. At the two furlong pole the race was over and she coasted in by 37 lengths at odds of 7/2. Touch A Million (11/2) kept on to take second. He was eight lengths ahead of Monlough Girl in third at 33/1. Catch A Lucky Star the 3/1 favourite, came home sixth.
There was a morning price gamble on Man Of The Cloth from 20/1 to 7/1 before going off at 8/1. However, he finished seventh.
Patrick Mullins said: "I didn't realise I was so far clear. She's only small - 15.2 or 15.3 - and the ground was too soft on her other runs. She just has one gallop so I let her roll. She's very tough.
"With the change of tactics who knows how good she could be. She was second in a point-to-point so jumps a fence."
