Limerick double for De Bromhead & Lynch Trainer Henry De Bromhead and jockey Andrew Lynch combined for a double at Limerick today, completing the feat in the Mr Binman Maiden Hurdle with well backed 10/11 favourite Deans Road. The son of Golan got the better of a battle with eventual runner-up Nine Stiches in the home straight for a length and a quarter win. De Bromhead was at Leopardstown and Lynch later stated “he won his point to point on heavy and ran well in a good race the last day. Whatever he does over hurdles is a bonus as he wants a fence. “It wasn't a bad race as we quickened well in the straight.” By Tom Weekes
