Leonard within one of Orr now Killian Leonard is within one of Oisin Orr at the head of the apprentice jockey's table now after his victory on Reckless Lad in the Dundalk Stadium Claiming Race. Favourite Seanie looked a winner of this mile contest as things heated up inside the final two furlongs. However he was mown down late by Reckless Lad and Midnitemudcrabs. In the end Pat Martin's Reckless Lad was a neck up on Midnitemudcrabs, with the same distance to Seanie in third.   "Killian was on early in the week looking for the ride, and he's just one behind (Oisin Orr) now (in the apprentice championship). We said that we'd go the brave route and he likes to come between horses," said Martin. "Killian was on the outside and he said he's not liking this at all so he went to the inside and found a bit of trouble and that woke him up. He showed a nice turn of foot. "He's had his problems and we put him in at a very realistic price tonight (€9,000). We could lose him but he's eight in January and has given us a great bit of fun. He's been a great old servant. "It was a very intelligent ride and he's a very good young fella."   Zippy (seventh) was the only horse claimed, by trainer Jack Davison for €8,000. The Stewards informed Anthony McCann, trainer that Turfjager (GER), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
