Francis Flood trained his second winner in three days when his Lascalahall landed the Freshford Handicap Hurdle at Gowran today.
The son of Milan eventually ran out a length and a half winner from Kylebeg Krystle to provide jockey Brian O’Connell with his 14th winner of the season, and his third for Flood.
Afterwards Flood said “Brian has done well for us recently and Lascalahall did it well today.”
“They went a good gallop which suited us and he was in a good position all the way. We’ll go for another handicap at either Fairyhouse or Punchestown next and we’ll send him chasing next season.”
