The concluding Tipper Road (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race at Naas was a well-contested event that was run off in very testing conditions and the Beneficial gelding (his second winner on the card following on from Benash Knockgraffon King proved strongest under Nina Carberry.
Second in the market behind the well-backed Dantes King the Noel Meade trained winner saw off his aforementioned rival fairly and squarely after the favourite secured a passage up the rail to deliver his challenge.
Meade said: "He is a nice horse that stays well. He is from the same family as Denman and it took him a long time to come to himself. He was a big baby when he ran last year (runner-up to Priests Road at Fairyhouse last April).
"He was a little keen early today and I don't think he'll run in another bumper. I'll run him in a couple of hurdles and he'll go over fences then."
