There are a number of market movers on Kilbeggan's seven-race card this evening which commences at 5.30pm.
In the novice hurdle for mares at 6pm, Miss Accurate who is going for a hat-trick for Dessie Hughes has been supported from 7/2 to 11/4. Cinderella Story has also shortened from 5/1 to 7/2. Pretty Valira is a non runner.
In the Joe Cooney Memorial Handicap Hurdle (6.30pm) Riotman for trainer Michael Flannery with in-form seven-pound claimer Tony Kelly on board has been cut from 8/1 to 11/2. In the same race top-weight Carheenlea with cheekpieces tried today has seen money from 11/1 to 8/1. Fitzgutentyte is a non runner in hs contest.
Meanwhile, in the 7pm maiden hurdle Father Shine who has won a bumper at Kilbeggan, has seen his odds contract from 8/1 to 5/1. He had made good headway to track the leaders last time out in a handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan before clipping heels and slipping up in the straight.
After three second places in-a-row Jamsie Hall has been backed to score in the two mile four furlong handicap chase at 8pm (9/4 to 7/4).
Hot favourite Dr Tommy has hardened to 4/5 from even money in the bumper at 8.30pm for Kieran Purcell and Nina Carberry. This gelding is looking to step up from a runner-up finish at Killarney. Vinniespride has been taken at 33/1 in the same raceand now trades at 20/1.
In terms of market drifters Steviekey has gone from 16/1 to 25/1 in the opening maiden hurdle at 5.30pm. He fell last time out at Ballinrobe. Rock On Mary has taken a walk in the market in the bumper from 9/1 to 12/1. She finished ninth on debut in a Cork bumper.
