Jack Kennedy completed a quick double at Cork this afternoon as the Gordon Elliott-trained No Time To Wait ran out a convincing winner of the two-mile maiden hurdle. Western Diego went to post a 4/6 shot in the race and led four from home. He was joined by No Time To Wait three from home and quickly gave way.
Despite slight mistakes at the penultimate flight and the last No Time To Wait pulled clear in good style to record a cosy six-length win.
The 3/1 winner had been well beaten when third to Ile Atlantique on his hurdling debut at Gowran Park last month.
Kennedy said:- "It was a good performance and it was a step up from the last day so he is a nice horse.
“I was hoping he'd do that the last day but it was good he did it today, he jumped great and loved the ground."
