The concluding race on day two of the Killarney Festival today, the Paul Fitzgerald & Son Builders Suppliers Handicap, went to the Pat O'Donnell trained Keep It Cool whose jockey John Cullen was another to make the trip south from Downpatrick by helicopter.
The son of Spinning World eventually held the renewed challenge of front-running Queen Of Cool by half a length.
Afterwards O'Donnell reported "Keep It Cool had been running well in the Flat and we thought he'd have a big chance if reproducing that form. The owner's son Richard O'Brien does a lot of work on him and we'll aim him at a race at Galway next."
