Keane completes brace in Dundalk finale Colin Keane supplemented his success on Lunar Power for Noel Meade earlier, winning the finale at Dundalk for his boss Ger Lyons aboard Ozymandis in the DundalkStadium.com Maiden. After one start at two in November, Ozymandis was heavily-backed to get the better of Ballydoyle’s Jeroboam. The successful Brazen Beau gelding found a starting price of 9/4 from 4/1 as Jeroboam went from 4/6 out to 5/6. Ozymandis got the upper hand on Jeroboam by three parts of a length with three and a quarter lengths back to Bears Hug in third. Lyons’ brother Shane said: “That was a nice performance. He's by Brazen Beau and likes that ground. “He'll only improve from that run, he's a big gross horse. He'll get a mile and we'll find a winners race for him now. “Hopefully he'll have learned a little bit more from that as it's only his second run. We're very happy with him.” (GC & EM)
