Jubilant Note landed the featured Ross Golf Club Hurdle at Killarney on Sunday in a driving finish from Silver Jaro but his task was made somewhat easier when the favourite Brave Right was pulled up quickly after jumping the fifth hurdle.
Winning trainer Michael Murphy said afterwards: "I was in two minds as to whether or not he would run as they had rain overnight. When the favourite was taken out we were left with two-milers in the race and that suited us. He will next contest the Guinness Handicap Hurdle at Listowel."
