Jennies Jewel dug deep after a last flight blunder to gain a deserved success in the two-and-a-half mile handicap hurdle at Navan.
The Jarlath Fahey-trained mare tracked leader Face Value into the straight in the valuable €50,000 contest and hit the front at the third last.
She made a mistake at the final flight, however, and lost her momentum when leaving her back legs in the hurdle.
Ian McCarthy gave her a strong drive on the run-in to maintain her advantage and hold the late surge of He'llberemembered by half a length.
Colbert Station was sent off the 10/3 favourite but blundered Tony McCoy out of the saddle with a circuit to run.
The 10/1 winner wasn't scoring out of turn having been in the first four on her previous eight outings.
“She's tough and genuine,” said Fahey of the Flemensfirth mare afterwards.
“She ran a great race the last day (third here) and deserved that. She'll probably go for the mares race on the last day of the Leopardstown Christmas meeting.”
