Jazzy Matty to revert to hurdles at Fairyhouse Last month’s Cheltenham festival winner Jazzy Matty is to reappear in four days at Fairyhouse on Easter Saturday, as the Cian Collins-trained gelding reverts to hurdling in the Listed Rybo Handicap Hurdle. Jazzy Matty provided late jockey Michael O’Sullivan with a second Cheltenham success in 2023 when landing the Fred Winter Hurdle and while the six-year-old then lost his way, scored twice over fences last year. At Cheltenham last month the Top Man Syndicate-owned Jazzy Matty secured his own second festival win, with a poignant success in the Grand Annual Chase, and now Collins is now keen to utilise a lower hurdle mark. Rated 142 over fences, Jazzy Matty has a hurdle rating of just 125 and Collins commented “Jazzy Matty is flying it, he is in great form. "He might go to Fairyhouse on Saturday for the Rybo. That's the plan at the moment, he'll have a low weight and has a lower mark over hurdles. We'll see what happens."  Quotes from Donal Murphy
