The Noel Dooly trained Jansboy landed the Cheestrings Beginners Chase at Listowel today, winning at his tenth attempt over fences, under jockey Paul Carberry.
The son of Alflora was ending a losing run stretching to October 2013, when steered to success by none other than Tony McCoy in a Fundraising Day Raceday at Limerick and today overcame a blunder in-running before recovering for a four and a half lengths win over He Is Top Class
Winning trainer Noel Dooly was on lead-up duties.
